2nd Annual Harrison County FFA Ham, Bacon, and Egg Sale Raises Over $20,000 for Student Agricultural Projects


Lost Creek (Saturday, March, 15th 2025) – The South Harrison FFA hosted its 2nd Annual Harrison County Ham, Bacon, and Egg Sale generating an impressive $20,965 in support of students’ Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs). This annual event provides FFA members with the opportunity to showcase their hard work while engaging the local community in agricultural education and support.

The event’s judging was led by Mr. Isaac Lewis, an Animal and Veterinary Science teacher at Hampshire High School in Romney, WV. The sale was conducted by auctioneer Andrew Yoder of Kaufman Realty and Auctions.

The funds raised will directly benefit students’ Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), helping them further develop their skills in animal science, food production, and agribusiness. The South Harrison FFA looks forward to continuing this renewed tradition and expanding opportunities for student success in the years to come.
