Looking for a fun and active way for kids to get moving? Get Moving Inc. invites children ages 4-12 to a FREE Day of Play on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility in Morgantown, WV.

Event Details:

It's time to register for CWVSA Spring Soccer! Registration starts on January 5th and ends on March 6th. Kids ages 3 to 15 in Harrison County can join. We offer teams from U4 to U16, and the cost is $80 per child.

Our practices are held in Nutter Fort, WV, two days a week, either on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on your coach. Practice times will start between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Games:

• U4–U8: Every Saturday

• U10 and up: Game times will vary

In partnership with WVU's College of Creative Arts and Media, Summit Chamber Music Series is thrilled to present "Tyrannosaurus Sue: A Cretaceous Concerto."

Our musicians will take you on a musical journey, way back in time to before flat screen TVs, before smartphones, before zip-lock bags, or even zippers, before books and umbrellas, even before there were any humans at all! We will travel back to the Cretaceous period, when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Tyrannosaurus Sue: A Cretaceous Concerto tells the story in music of a real T.rex who lived 60 million years ago, and whose bones were discovered in South Dakota just 34 years ago. Written and composed by Bruce Adolphe, who will narrate the story on stage with a fantastic group of musicians, the trombone will personify and star as Tyrannosaurus Sue!
