CAJE

(Career Awareness/Job Exploration)

The Career Awareness/Job Exploration Program is a curriculum based class that includes classroom instruction and work based learning exploration.

Students work in community businesses two (2) days per week.

The Focus of the CAJE Program is to work on objectives such as:

  • The importance of getting a job and the impact is has on a successful life

  • Interpersonal Skills such as manners, habits, attitudes, appearances and behaviors

  • Communication Skills

  • Job Safety Awareness

  • Character Traits and Diversity

  • Current Events and Appropriate Topics of Conversation

  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving

  • Cover Letter, Resume and Job Application and Interview Techniques

  • Hands On Job Shadowing
