School Climate Survey

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At Harrison County Schools, we believe the best way to prepare your children for an increasingly complex society is to listen. That means giving you opportunities to share your honest feedback and not shying away from what you have to say. It means holding ourselves accountable when you tell us about an opportunity for improvement or growth. And it means taking what you say and acting upon it in a way that will benefit everyone in the Harrison County Schools family.

That’s why it’s critical we hear from you in our School Climate Survey, which launches March 4-16. The survey asks for feedback on student and academic support, school leadership, safety and behavior, family engagement, and school operations. We will use the results to continue making meaningful changes in our schools.

The online survey can be taken from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Please check your email for an invitation and survey link. You can also participate by clicking the survey link on our district website, school websites, and respective social media pages. You have through March 16 to participate.

All responses are strictly confidential. We’ve partnered with independent research and communications firm K12 Insight to administer the survey and compile the results. Final reports will only include overall results. No one from the district will know if you participate or how you respond.

Thank you for your continued support of Harrison County Schools. With your candid feedback, we're confident we can continue making meaningful changes across the district.
