Lost Creek, WV (Friday, February, 23rd, 2024) – Members of the South Harrison FFA donned their blue and gold corduroy jackets Friday evening to celebrate the end of National FFA Week and host their Annual Parent/Member Awards Banquet. Freshman Delainey Lowther, Sophomore Elena Medina, Junior Sean Bell, and Senior Spencer Nolan were awarded outstanding members for their grade level. Alivia Baker was awarded the Chapter’s Star Greenhand Award, given annually to the first-year member exhibiting the most promise and dedication to the program. Emma Hitt was the recipient of the 2024 Chapter Star Farmer Award. Inducted as Honorary Members of the South Harrison chapter were South Harrison High School (SHHS) Secretary Tiffany Carpenter, Bill Coffindaffer Harrison County Farm Bureau Member, Jeff Barnhart West Milford Lions Club, President, Andy Thomas South Harrison FFA Alumni Member, and Amy Woods, Harrison County Teacher’s Aide.
