Madison, Wisconsin - South Harrison High School students Michael Radcliff and Spencer Nolan represented the State of West Virginia in the 100th Annual National Dairy Cattle Judging Competition at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. World Dairy Expo is home to one of the best-known dairy cattle shows in the world.
This is made possible by the numerous outstanding breeders, barn crews, owners, volunteers and so many others involved. In 2021, 2,306 head of cattle were housed by 1,566 owners representing 32 states, 5 Canadian provinces, Australia, Italy and the United Kingdom.
The pair competed with students from all over the country; judging 10 classes consisting of four cattle each and gave oral reasonings to support their judgements to a panel of industry judges. The team placed 20th overall.
