Baking and Pastry students in Clarksburg and Lost Creek are in for a treat this week as Chef Brandy Stire, a Wilton Cake Decorating Instructor, will visit their schools to teach them how to crumb and decorate multi-layer cakes. This hands-on learning experience will give students valuable skills in professional cake decorating techniques.

Chef Stire will work with students at Robert C. Byrd High School (RCB) and South Harrison High School (SHHS) on the following schedule:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 3: South Harrison High School (Teacher: Tim Garcia)
    Time: 12:15 - 2:15 p.m. (Chef will arrive at noon to set up)

  • Wednesday, Dec. 4: Robert C. Byrd High School (Teacher: Brooke Welling)
    Time: 12:20 - 2:20 p.m. (Chef will arrive at noon to set up)

This collaboration provides students with practical, industry-level skills in a fun and engaging setting.
