This month Christmas break is coming up and students are already ecstatic and wishing for snow days to shorten the dreadful wait. With snow already falling, students watching out their windows, and waiting for the text " Harrison county has issued a school wide SNOW-DAY!" Ready to run out in the snow, but before break there is plenty of fun events to catch. This month we have the up and coming winter formal. Plenty of Bms students have attended this fun and exciting dance but for our 6th graders this is a new experience. This evening for our 6th graders and new students who have never been to a school dance or specifically a BMS dance and we hope they enjoy the party. The dance is from 6:00pm to 8:30pm and your student is not allowed to leave without parent or guardian permission. You can buy your ticket on school cash online for 10 dollars. The dance is located at the bridge sports complex and will be held in the gymnasium, keep in mind no heels are permitted to be worn off of the carpet so you can bring a pair of fuzzy Christmas socks or just regular socks to change into. Your heels and or belongs can be stored on a table in a specific section of the gymnasium. Our band will be playing on December 16th in our gymnasium come to support your friends, siblings, kids, and Mr Hayslette. We also have our annual winter spirit week starting December 16-20th. Monday will be “Winter Fuzzy Socks” Tuesday is “Denim Vs Sweats” Day. Wednesday is “Flannel Day” Thursday is “Ugly sweater or holiday themed shirt” and finally Friday is the winter battle of the grades. 6th grade will be green, 7th will be white, and 8th grade is red.
