Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

1. Students will be dismissed to class at 7:31 am from the bus room in the morning. The tardy bell rings at 7:45 am.

2. Walkers can be dropped off starting at 7:00 am in the front of the school. Students will enter through the side door on the left side of the building until 7:45 am. After 7:45 am you must enter in the front door.

3. 1st to 5th grade Walkers will be dismissed at 2:25 pm out the main entrance doors.

4. Pre-K and Kindergarten will be dismissed from the side doors on the left at 2:20 pm. An adult over 18 years-old must sign them out if they are a walker.

5. Parents must send a note in the morning if your child’s normal dismissal procedure will be different. If a student is going home with another student, we must have notes from both parents stating it is approved. The teacher and principal must sign notes. Students must have a signed note before going on a different bus and/or released with a different person.

6. If changes with dismissal occur after your child leaves home please be sure to notify the school before 1:30 pm to ensure your child receives the message before dismissal occurs.

Teacher Conference and Communication

1. If you would like to speak with a teacher, please schedule an appointment. Teachers will have duties during the morning and afternoon supervising students, and cannot meet with parents during their duties.

2. Parents will have access to Live Grades and receive a username and password. Please use it to view your child’s academic progress.

3. All teachers have an email address. Feel free to send them an email. Most staff members also use Dojo or SeeSaw, and can also be used to make contact with the staff.
