Lincoln Middle School Strategic Plan Goals
Mathematics Improvement
By the end of the 2023 school year, the iReady benchmark data for all students in grades 6-8 at Lincoln Middle School will reflect an increase in proficiency by at least one year's worth of growth from the beginning of the year benchmark to the end of the year benchmark. WVGSA (West Virginia General Summative Assessment) data will show progress and growth towards Math CCRS as well as improvements to Quantile scale scores.
English Language Arts Improvement
By the end of the 2023 school year, the iReady benchmark data for students in grades 6-8 at Lincoln Middle School will reflect an increase in proficiency by at least one year's worth of growth from the beginning of the year benchmark to the end of the year benchmark. WVGSA data will show progress and growth towards English Language Arts proficiency, proficiency in CCRS, as well as improvements to scale scores.
Attendance and Behavior Improvement
To increase attendance rates, Lincoln Middle School will institute methodologies to reduce truancy risk factors by providing healthy, safe, and collaborative environments for all students to learn, reduce student out-of-school suspensions by 15%; maintain collaborative opportunities with families, and maintain a 90% monthly attendance average to support the goal of 90% of students present 90% of instructional days.
