LSIC Meeting
April 1, 2025
Call meeting to order – Mrs. Meighan Jones called the meeting to order at 3:03.
Roll Call – Meighan Jones, Shelby Swiger, Kim Cunningham & Jennifer Barton were in attendance.
Reading & Approval of Minutes – Meighan Jones read the minutes from the previous meeting & Shelby Swiger made a motion to dismiss the minutes. Jennifer Barton seconded the motion.
Principal’s Report – Meighan Jones shared that our school is getting a new entry intercom system this summer. The preschool playground is getting cement paths for wheelchair bound students. The classroom in the basement is going to become a STEAM room focusing on Science, Art, and Math. Mrs. Barton shared that we have made some really great improvements recently and she is pleased with our progress.
General updates – The general summative assessment is coming up May 5th through the 8th. Staff appreciation week will also be occurring that week. The school will be doing our end of the year field trip to the Shinnston pool on May 22nd. We are waiting on the last official day of school from the state board.
